Nang ako’y namangka sa dalampasigan…
na batis ng luha’t ng abang pangarap;
Puso’y yaring agnas nitong kalungkutan!
Mata’y nangapako sa dakong pampang
na nangangakubli sa kanyang pagtangis!
Ligaya’y balaraw at tungkos ng hapis…
labis nagdaramdam pusong namighati!
Oh here am I again, soaring the seashore
whose tears are its stream… of a song long that had been gone!
Alone so dreary and melancholic… beneath the clouds
Whose heart a decaying thorns of sorrow and pains!
Mine eyes ever glued to the banks…
Whose deep in obscurities of laments and weeping!
Whose joy’s are daggers of downhearted
Heavily resentful this heart in grief!
Sail ho! Sail ho! …To this retrospection
~ whose mind a journey in these dolorous waters!
~whose heart like a river flowing bleeding in thorns
A songs so forlorn whose a vast darkening clouds!
Sail ho! Sail ho! In this isolated wanderings
Beneath the moonlight so dark and dreary!
~ Heavily sighs to the long lost lover
That shall forever be lost in my life forever!
